Uglies Sweet Potato Pie

Pie Ingredients:

  • 1 & 1/2 cups canned sweet potato (use fresh, cooked sweet potatoes, if preferred)
  • 4 TBS salted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • refrigerated pie crust (homemade pie crust is great if you have the time!)




  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F
  2. Beat the sweet potatoes with a mixer until smooth
  3. Add brown sugar, butter, eggs, milk, sour cream and allspice
  4. Line a 9-inch pie plate with pie crust and add mixture
  5. Cover with foil and bake one hour until pie filling is set
  6. While pie is baking, prepare crunchy topping with Uglies Sweets!

o   Combine 1/2 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, and 4tsp of butter in mixing bowl. Mix until consistency is lumpy.

o   Crush SWEETS! Sweet Potato Kettle Chips in a bag and fold into topping mixture.

  1. After the pie has baked for 1 hour, remove foil and spread the crunchy topping over the pie filling
  2. Return pie to the oven and bake approximately 20 minutes more until the topping and crust are golden brown
  3. Let cool completely before serving and ENJOY!
