In 2021 we made the decision to reinvent our image. Our messages of reducing waste, supporting farmers and fighting hunger were just too important for people to miss so, we energized our brand and introduced a dynamic new mascot to help communicate all of that and, just as important, how delicious Uglies Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips are!
With the new brand, we’ve reenergized our commitments to reduce waste, support farmers, and fight hunger. And Ugly is helping us do it!
Meet Ugly…
Born under a full moon in the potato fields of a fertile valley in southeastern Pennsylvania, Ugly is pure personality. He says what he thinks and backs up whatever he says… He’s a little bit gritty but he’s a fanatic for Uglies Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips! Look for Ugly on all of our newly-designed packaging. He’s an underdog, he’s a helper, he’s disarmingly charming… he’s Ugly!
